WHAT WE BELIEVE

THE TEACHERS, ADMINISTRATORS AND STAFF AT CAAB Learning Center ARE UNITED IN THEIR BELIEF THAT ALL CHILDREN:

  • Have the power to learn

  • Are curious & creative

  • Can succeed

No two students have exactly the same skills or learning style. That’s why we create an individual learning plan for every child. Your plan will combine direct instruction, small-group work, and one-on-one tutoring in a way that works for your student.

Each day CAAB uses the educational power of play to grow your child socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually—all while having fun.

Our passionate and engaging teachers grow, learn, and imagine with your child, whether building a spaceship to blast off to Mars or inviting a new friend to share a story during group time. We believe “curriculum” is everything that happens in the classroom, from interactions and meals to singing and playing. We never miss an opportunity to blend play with our early education curriculum.

We provide a balance between choice and structured activities, between group and individual pursuits, and between teacher and child-directed experiences. Our activies are aligned with 140 learning standards across six developmental domains:

Math & Science                                                    ABC.Mouse

Inclusion Philosophy

CAAB welcomes children of all abilities, with the commitment to provide quality care and education to each child. We believe every child is a unique individual with varying needs, and we welcome the diversity that brings to our centers. All children and families deserve to be full members of their communities, to have the opportunity for development and learning, and to experience a sense of belonging.

CAAB supports inclusion by providing access to our world-class curriculum programs, embracing inclusive participation in our programs, and offering support to our educators through training and consultation by our Education and Inclusion Services teams. Inclusion is not just a strategy for helping certain children overcome challenges; inclusion is a way of life at CAAB.
